We all hate it when we’re making plans or thinking about the upcoming week and writing e-mails or updating our calendars only to find out there’s a holiday we forgot about. It’s easy to get caught up in life and forget about these things. Christmas, Easter, birthdays and anniversaries are easier, but sometimes the other national holidays catch us unaware.

So, I thought I’d post and remind everyone that Monday is a national holiday in the USA, and most banks, the post office, and major government buildings and schools should be be closed on Monday. If you remember last year, we celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with our usual humor. We’re probably going to do it again this year – it’s becoming a tradition!
