Sorry, folks. Where I’d hoped to put a kick-butt second installment to the Linux for n00bs article, is instead this silly excuse post. I think Friday work schedule being different from Monday – Thursday is going to take a little more getting used to again. I’m 11am – 8pm Monday through Thursday now, and 8am – 5pm on Fridays. I’m still able to do class just fine, which is nice. But today at work was a little crazy, with people going to meetings and trying to cover the Help Desk and the walk-up counter and accomplish a work assignment I had let slip until today.

I’m writing my first proposal for work, which is awesome. I’m trying to put some of my Project Management skills to work here. But I just didn’t have time to do screenshots and post instructions. Here’s what I plan to do – I want to draw up directions for partitioning your hard drive, and then do another post for installing Ubuntu. I’m not sure if that’ll get done this weekend, but stay tuned, I may just suprise you.

Also, out to the right you’ll notice (scroll down a little) I have CloudShout installed: it’s this cool app from the folks behind SocialSpark that lets you install apps for your blog, and chat with people who are reading my blog at the same time as you. You can even chat with the site owner, Me! I’ll detail more on that later, and if anyone wants an alpha key to put CloudShout on your own blog, leave me a comment below or direct message me on Twitter (@ragingtech).
