A Little Help From My Friends

So, sometimes you need help from your friends. I know a lot of people are hesitant to do things that require more than just a few moments of their time to help someone. But not my friends – I know my good friends wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to help me if they can. So this weekend when my buddy needed help going to his hometown to pick up some furniture for his new place from his mom, I didn’t even think about it – I just said yes.

It was a fun time, hanging out and talking in the truck on the way there. Road trips are always a lot of fun. We weren’t looking forward to moving heavy furniture and the long ride back, but we did it. At the end of the day, my body hurt and all I wanted to do was crash. But it was a fun time and totally worth it to help out my good friend.
